Barbara S. Murphy, J.D., is an associate attorney with Ferenczy + Paul LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, where she concentrates on all types of qualified retirement plans and related issues. Ms. Murphy drafts individually designed defined contribution and defined benefit plan documents; analyzes operational and ERISA compliance plan issues; advises clients with respect to corrective procedures; prepares corrective filings for submission to the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor; represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor in relation to investigations, audits, and civil actions; and assists various plan service providers with reporting and disclosure requirements in their client service agreements.

Barbara focused on employment law at Georgia State University School of Law, where she was a published member of the Law Review. She began her career as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Dorothy A. Robinson in Cobb County Superior Court, where she spent two years before joining the Firm.
